At Bygghemma, we are now looking for a Senior Developer who wants to help develop one of the largest e-commerce platforms in the Nordics. With us, you will work with modern cloud-based solutions at a high level to continuously develop and improve the purchasing experience for our customers.

Your future responsibilities

You will work in a team of skilled developers who build the services and integrations behind one of the Nordics’ best e-commerce websites. As one of the largest e-commerce players in the region, we have a modern, proprietary solution that allows us to optimize for our customers’ needs.

Your and the department’s mission is to develop the platform to enable functionality and automation that improve the customer buying experience and streamline our internal processes. The platform must support multiple sites with cutting-edge performance. Our solutions are built on .NET.

About you

We are primarily looking for a senior profile, so you should have several years of development experience and have worked with a variety of solutions. We aim to maintain a high level within the department, so we are looking for a strong developer with an appetite for building truly great solutions.

We expect that you are passionate about programming, and you likely have an interesting hobby project you would enjoy telling us more about.

We mainly work in .NET and primarily use MongoDB and SQL as our databases. You should feel comfortable with these technologies and preferably have deep expertise in one or more of them. We have migrated to the cloud and currently work with Cloud Services, so it is important that you have experience with and feel confident in cloud-based environments. Experience with GCP is a plus.

You are used to working in Jira and thrive in an agile development environment. Experience in retail, and particularly e-commerce, is also an advantage.
